Got Rhythm?

Let's make some noise in the library! Learn rhythm through a variety of activities and games. Create cool percussion instruments.

This summer Pasco County Libraries have been invited to participate in Reading with the Rays: Read Your Way to the Ballpark. Just choose your favorite books from your local library or select your favorite section of the St. Petersburg Times to read over the summer. As you read, track your hours by rounding the bases and collect Rays rewards. Read Around the Bases cards coming soon to a library near you!

3 Hours – First Base Reward: Rays Cup

5 More Hours – Second Base Reward: Rays Wristband

7 More Hours – Third Base Reward: Rays Reading Poster

9 More Hours – Home Plate Reward: 1 Ticket to a Rays Home Game (Details on the Card)

Join us at the Land O' Lakes Library on Friday, June 5th at approximately 1:00 p.m. when Raymond and the Rays Street Team visit the library. Bring your cameras.

Registration for the Summer reading program begins May 26th and reporting on your books starts June 6th.

To register, fill out a reading club contract in the library or online at pascolibraries.org. You only need to read 6 books by July 25th. If you read more than that, you become a Pasco County Library System Star Reader.

Each library will be sending information about the parties and upcoming programs through email. Please make sure our email does not go into your spam folder.

All who read and report on 6 books will be invited to a final party with certificates and rewards!

We’ll be offering a variety of programs and giveaways all summer, so pick up a list of events and drop in as often as possible.
