You can win books. Here's how;
* Pick up a coloring sheet at your local library or you can download a copy.
* Color it in, as best you can.* Return it to your local library by Saturday, July 25.
A winner will be chosen at each of the libraries. Miami Dolphin's Foundation has graciously purchased books from the Scholastic Literacy Partnership for a coloring contest this summer.

Science professor Trevor Anderson's radical theories have tarnished his reputation. While backpacking across Iceland with his nephew Sean, the two find a cave that leads them deep down into the bowels of the planet. They go on a quest to find out what has happened to Trevor's missing brother, also a scientist. Trevor, Sean and their mountain guide discover a fantastic and dangerous lost world in the center of the earth. There, they discover a bizarre landscape filled with terrifying creatures.

Mark Your Calendars - Summer Reading Club Sign-up
Registration for the Summer reading program begins May 26th and reporting on your books starts June 6th.
To register, fill out a reading club contract in the library or online at pascolibraries.org. You only need to read 6 books by July 25th. If you read more than that, you become a Pasco County Library System Star Reader.
Each library will be sending information about the parties and upcoming programs through email. Please make sure our email does not go into your spam folder.
All who read and report on 6 books will be invited to a final party with certificates and rewards!
We’ll be offering a variety of programs and giveaways all summer, so pick up a list of events and drop in as often as possible.

School is out Thursday and Friday, and the library has things to keep you busy. No matter where you live in Pasco County, your local library has special offerings for you. Here are afew things happening at Hudson this week. Read on.
Babies: Hudson Library offers Baby Storytime every Wednesday and Thursday at 11:30. We have incorporated signing in all our baby programs. A weekly take-home sheet allows you to practice sign language and nursery rhymes with your baby. On Thursday, Oct 18, we will be recognizing the first 2 babies to graduate out of Baby Storytime since I took over in April of this year. Come join us at 11:30.
Preschoolers: This week we have Angelina Ballerina story and crafts on Thursday at 2:00pm, at the Hudson Regional Library.
Elementary School: Come to Family Nite on Wednesday for a craft and a story, or join your little brother or sister for crafts and a story based on the Angelina Ballerina series.
Teens: Don't forget to come vote for your favorite candidate, at the Teen Advisory Board elections tonight at the Hudson Regional Library. Let your vote count!! On Friday, Oct 19, come listen to teen author Chelsea Devries talk about the creative process in the meeting room. Her book "Dream Girl" will be available for purchase complete with signature!
